Quick fix for your Sovol SV08 if you’re using a BTT 7 screen and it’s not working correctly:

Add this to your /boot/BoardEnv.txt:

extraargs=video=HDMI-A-1:1024x600@60

That forces the panel to a mode the BTT 7 screen actually likes, and the display comes up at the right resolution and refresh.
